Dave Chase leads the vision for Health Rosetta which is to empower community-owned health plans. Health Rosetta’s blueprint and platform powers the health plans of your dreams: high quality, trustworthy, local, affordable care — that you thought had disappeared forever — from caregivers we know & trust. We free up compassionate, well-trained, community-based caregivers to rediscover love in medicine so they can do what they have always been called to do: serve their patients not just in disease, but toward their fullest health. A trusted & sacred caregiver-patient bond is built through transparency & openness that equips and empowers patients wherever they can best achieve their unique health goals — at home or any setting best optimizing their well-being. By avoiding the 50% wasted healthcare spending, we can ensure our caregivers have the independence & resources to address the psychosocial and medical issues their patients face. Human-centered health plans restore health, hope & well-being.

Dave Chase’s Prescription for Success:
Number 1: Find your calling. It’s great to have a job, but it’s a lot better to have a career, but what’s even better than a career is to have a calling.
Number 2: Have big ambition, but work on the fractals, you know, those piece parts. If you’re going to paddle hard no matter what you do, you may as well find a big wave.
Number 3: Find extraordinary people to work with or become friends with. Surround yourself with people who really inspire and challenge you; you’ll not only grow, but really sore.

Notable quotes from Dave’s interview:
After my parents, my high school track coach is probably the biggest influence in my life, you know, other than my wife, you know, more recently.
Why do I like this so much? And there were a few reasons but one of it was it was competitive, and I like competing and achieving.
(on the state of health care in America): And it’s just a sort of a compendium of accidents of history legislation that have created a Gordian knot designed by Rube Goldberg.
Your typical doctor really does not know about the economic underpinnings that create the oxygen that they breathe, and frankly, [that] drives a lot of the dysfunction and burnout.
We’ve gone to war for less than what the healthcare system has done to America.
Most of the status quo is chasing their tail on quarterly and annual cycles and when you can have a strategy, that’s a 5-10-20-30 year strategy, you start to have a prayer.
We’re paying Cadillac prices, but we’re getting Pinto health outcomes.
